We’ll break down what this shed has for upgrades, how long it took to build, and if the customer was happy with their shed (spoiler, they were!).

This shed is 10’x16′ in size with lots of upgrades including:

8′ sidewall height
Custom vinyl siding to match house
An extra 3rd window (on the left side)
3-tiered storage shelves
Workbench and storage loft combo
Hanging interior solar light

Drawings and Permit

This shed was over the 120 square feet, meaning it needed a permit in Fargo. But that didn't stop us! We helped the customer get through the permit process by providing the city with drawings.

Solid Wood Base

This was a unique build in that the customer hired a 3rd party to install a gravel base pad for their shed. While not necessary to have, it did make it easier to level the shed base!

Vinyl Siding

The homeowner wanted the shed to match their house perfectly - and we were able to do just that! With vinyl siding, our all white doors are included at no extra cost.

8' Sidewalls

The main purpose of this shed was to hold as many items as possible, including a couple of kayaks. The customer opted for 8' tall sidewalls in order to maximize their space.

Door Threshold

We included an aluminum door threshold, which will help extend the life of the subfloor at the door area. It's sure to get dinged and scratched, but that's what it's there for!

Solar Light

The homeowner wanted to access their shed at night, so we added this bright hanging solar light. It is motion activated, so it only turns on if someone opens the door.

3-Tiered Shelving

Did we mention the customer wanted space to put things? Look no further! Our shelving system is very solid and provides tons of room to store items and totes.

Workbench and Loft

In addition to the shelves, on the opposite side we installed a workbench with a storage loft above it! The extra window will also allow for natural light to enter the shed.

Quick Build

The entire build took two full days, but due to a rain storm it took place over three days. Still pretty quick for a shed this size and with so many upgrades!

The young man was very kind and respectful. We had seen a finished shed he had done for our SIL and was impressed with the quality of his work. He told us when to expect the delivery of the wood and it was on time. He showed up when he said he would. He worked hard all day and it showed in the quality of his work. The finished shed was awesome and definitely 100% better than if we had tried to do it. His price was very reasonable and he could have definitely charged more because the quality was exceptional. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a quality shed built.

Levi, Jordan and Landon did a fantastic job. They had to deal with the cold and rain in the beginning and with heat and humidity during most of the day. Beau and his assistant built my 10X8 shed in about six hours! He explained to me how he can level the shed in the event the ground ever shifts and assured me that a quick call to him if anything goes wrong will fix it. I'm very impressed with the sturdiness of it and know I won't have to worry about snow collapsing this shed!

They site built a shed for us 1 year ago. I purposely waited a year to review it. We are happy with our purchase. They did everything they said they would do for the price they quoted. More importantly, they did everything on time or ahead of the time they promised. This is absolutely unheard of with anything contractor related. Unheard of. The quality seems to be good one year later with no need for any return visits. (Again, this is unheard of.) They aren't the cheapest option, but they certainly make up for it in quality and keeping their word. I would hire these guys again.

We contacted SquareShed in early spring to build a studio shed in our back yard. Our request was a bit different from their standard shed, but they were great to work with us on using a mix of their standard materials and additional materials like a French door, insulated floor, and plans for us to insulate it after the build was done. Beau did an excellent job with communication every step of the way, even when I was making changes or we were collaborating on decisions to keep costs reasonable and deliver what I was looking for. The work SquareShed did was great, and we have since completed the inside of the shed and use it every day. Beau, Rachel, and the rest of the team at SquareShed did a great job on a 10x12 shed in my backyard. They were quick to reply to any and all questions, put together a packet for the HOA review, and made the process extremely easy. The crew were personable, efficient, and didn’t leave behind any scraps or trash. They were in and out in less than 8 hours. The materials used and craftsmanship is excellent. The best part about this company is they do site prep and build a foundation with anchors instead of using concrete blocks. Would highly recommend anyone to go with this company!

This is a 12 X 12 with tall walls. This was a great experience and working with Beau was great! I had been looking online at pre-build sheds for several months. Once I decided it was time to buy, the sheds I had been looking at had been sold, so I started looking again. This time, I found SquareShed and liked that they build onsite, they use 2"x6" boards for floor trusts (pre-built only used 2"x4"), you don't have to tear down your fence to get a pre-built shed into your backyard, and the price was similar to (if not less than) the smaller pre-built sheds I had considered. I called them on 9/5/24 (after 5:00pm) to ask some questions and the owner actually answered the phone (impressive). He asked me to submit a request online so he could get me a quote and told me to contact the City of Fargo to start a building permit application for my 12' x 24' shed (you don't need a permit for some smaller sheds). On 9/16/24, one of their men came over to see exactly where the shed would go in my yard, confirm the size/features I wanted, and get my deposit. Later that same day, the owner emailed me the drawings I needed to submit with my permit application and gave me the answers I needed for questions on the application I wasn't sure how to answer. On 9/20/24, I got my permit from the City. On 9/24/24, the crew arrived to start building. By mid-afternoon the next day, my shed was finished, my yard had been cleaned up, and they were gone (when they said they'd get it done in 2 days I wasn't sure they'd be able to do it -- but they did!). Now I just need to move everything I want from the garage and my older, smaller sheds (that my wife is VERY happy I'm getting rid of) into the shed. Go online. Check them out. Based on my experience, I highly recommend SquareShed!!!
